Question: Uterine and Ovarian Problems?
I have been having Uterine Fibroids since I was 11 yrs of age. Had a major surgery when I was 12. They took out a basketball size fibroid in my uterus. Just had another surgery to remove another one in my uterus and they burnt a small one cause it is right between my uterine arteries. 3 weeks later I started getting real sick and fever and hemorraging real bad. Come to find out that the fibroid that is in my uterus that he burnt grew bigger. ( I currently have it still.) And they found a large hemorragic torioned left large ovarian cyst. The cyst was gone after a while with birth control. But ever since then I have been having cyst and fibroids come back every couple weeks and they grow really fast within 2 1/2 weeks. I was cleaning the this past weekend and felt something pop in my right lower side and had severe pain for a length of 10 minutes at 10:30 and then again at 11:45pm. Then around 3am the next day woke up to pain and it lasted from then till and while I was at the hospital. They found a large 7.1 right ovarian cyst and sent me home. Then Sunday I was in so much pain when I was woke up by it at 4am I couldn’t move .. I started to get a fever. I was so hot my hands were turning red. And I was nausous and vomited. Pain lasted till 8am.
I went to the Gyno Monday and he was thinking bout giving me a historectomy cause, there is really I guess nothing else they can do for me and it is just getting worse and worse. I had to get a 2nd opinion and this Dr said no to the surgery cause I am only 25 and haven’t had any kids.
My question is : I have tried everything I can think of to help me with these. But, now they are just coming back really quick and growing really fast and I get this every couple of weeks now. Which never happened before to me. No one knows why. But, yet they don’t wanna give me surgery to stop all this. I have been dealing with all this since I was 11 and now it is just to bad. I can’t take the pain anymore. Is there anything that you guys know that might be able to help me or give me ideas on what to do. They said last time I seen the dr I didn’t have cancer so, I don’t understand the rapid growth.

You have left out the most important things we need to know.
What is your diagnosis?
Do you want a hysterectomy?
Do you want kids?
This does sound horrible and you have been dealing with it half your life. You could get yet another opinion I would go to a teaching facility where they are used to seeing the most unusual cases. Make sure you take all of your records with you including those from when you were a child. The hospital probably still has them as you were a minor at the time just call first as they are probably in storage and will need about a week to get them.
