Question: Severe cramps as period ends/ended?
I get very intense bouts of uterine and abdominal cramps as my period ends or the day after it has ended. There is no bleeding and very rarely brown discharge (staining). They are much more intense than when my period begins or is in progress. They are so bad and come in waves. Motrin and heating pads don’t even work. They make me nauseous and give me a chill down my body. Right now I’m on the pill but after 8 years of anxiety, depression, mood swings, and no libido and still getting pms on the pill I’m done with it and will be stopping after this period.
What could cause these cramps? I don’t have a cyst or fibroids.
I posted this is pregnancy because I get better answers in this forum than women’s health=)
I did not stop the pill yet=this is my last week and then my period
I did go to gyno for a check up and she didn’t feel anything=I didn’t mention this problem at the time-slipped my mind talking about other issues-will talk to her about it-just wanted other opinions from women with similar issues.
I had no cysts or other growths= had a scan 9 months ago.

Well I’ve never been pregnant but I’m a teenager actually, but I have had cramps to the point where I had to go hospital.
Please take medication or have a check up with your health doctor. I recommend PONSTAN, it’s really good if you have very strong cramps. It’s completely normal to have depression and mood swings when you have your period. If your own prescribed medication didn’t help, maybe check with a more professional doctor ^^
