Question: Is this REALLY the cure to PCOS? I’m gonna be trying it as of today-tell me what u think?
ok, so i have pcos symptoms. I’ve never had it diagnosed (yet) but my sister has it, so it is likely i do too.
Symptoms
1. prob conceiving
2. hirustism
3. aching ovary on left side
4. not ovulating each month
5. swollen boobs monthly
6. nightsweats before period
7. candida
Okay so when researching I read that PCOS is caused by 1. insulin resistance and 2. estrogen dominance.
I read about how to get the circulating estrogens out of the body, and the answers that kept coming up time and time again was flax seeds
they say, it is because of an acid in the flax that makes women rid the body of a tonn (like 40%) more of excess estrogens. this 5- 10 grams of flax a day diet is said to stop endometriosis, fibroids, breast cancer, and pcos.
to prep the flax u need to soak it for 24-48 hours, cos this breaks down phytic acid, which stops u absorbing minerals.
they say follow this for 3 cycles and u will find periods will be less painful, and pcos will go away. plus to help it along, u should eat high protein diet, to lower insulin.

what do u think?
i started today. i made flax crackers with buckwheat flour, flax and some plain flour

Yes you have a lot of PCOS symptoms. Elevated testosterone, irregular periods, cysts on the ovaries, overweight, a lot of CHD pre-symptoms. PCOS and heart disease goes together. Mine, my HDL’s are lousy, taking niacin.

Unless you are allergic or have a bleeding problem take the baby aspirin daily to thin the uterine lining making implantation easier. Plus PCOS’ers tend to have a + ACLA (anti cardio lipid antibody) which thickens blood.

1 week before expected ovulation (middle of cycle or 17 days prior to expected period take robitussin to thin cervical mucus. Many PCOS women have hostile CM.

Hmm on the flax seed, haven’t heard it correlated to PCOS but do take it myself for chronic IBS predominantly constipation, another issue that PCOS women a lot of times have.

I only get pregnant when dieting and eating low carb.

Flax seed sure aint going to hurt. I’d try it. I’d suggest adding the baby ASA and robitussin too the regime.
