Is it possible to have Pulmonary Scar or Fibroid PTB even if you didn’t suffer from TB?
Question: Is it possible to have Pulmonary Scar or Fibroid PTB even if you didn’t suffer from TB?
I checked 2 clinics and both seen something in my xray. The first clinic put me to test using the PPD and resulted positive whereas the second clinic put me to sputum test and found negative. I never had any TB before. Which clinic is more reliable? If ever I had this Pulmonary Scar or Fibroid PTB, where did i got this from. I am a Mechanical Engineer working in a Cement Plant.

I test positive for TB but do not have TB because I am a carrier of it. I contacted it through my late grandmother she had it and eventually passed away from it. So the answer to your question is yes you can test positive and not have it. Question is have you ever been around anyone who has TB? If so you may have the same problem I have. But that is not a doctors opinion only mine. That is if I understand your question correctly
