Question: I had a hysterectomy six years ago for fibroid tumors. They left my ovaries because of my age.? I’m having pain in my lower right abdomen area that radiates to my lower back and between my shoulder blades. I had an ultrasound that showed a normal sized domestic left ovary, but a much larger right ovary. Possible cyst. I wonder about how many women who have hysterectomies and their ovaries stop end years later to have them removed. Should I be concerned about the right ovary is much larger and very sensitive to touch. Please help. Like to know the different treatment options. or if anyone else has had this Best answer:

This happened to a lady who worked for years. I have not heard of this happening at any time, although I’m sure it’s possible. I had my ovaries so I feel that I can be very helpful.
