Question: I am schedule for a hysteronomy soon to have large fibroids removed. The fibroids make my?
stomach enlarge (look like 6-7 months prego)!! Its been a long time with pain, prolonged heavy periods, lots of pads! And I am anemic cause of the prolonged periods (heavy bleeding) Those of you have gone through this I want to hear from you. Did you lose any of your hair during this process of them giving you medicine or the hysteronomy? I heard you can lose some hair but was not told what brought about this effect! And will my stomach appear any smaller after this surgery since now the fibroids have me looking 6-7 months prego????!!!!
I was told I needed the hysteronomy cause I have one large fibroid and 6-7 smaller ones they have enlarged my uterous tremendously! And hysteronomy would remove the fibroids and the uterous, this way the fibriods would not return. What is Myomectomy?

I’m sorry to hear about all your problems and I have not had first hand experience with fibroids- however my friend had them removed and her stomach flattened right out, she also looked about 6 months pregnant. She did not lose any hair. I hope someone has more answers for you on that.
