Not as fast as a baby in the womb. It takes several years to slowly enlarge. There usually are several growing at the same time. I have seen 15 -20 in the same uterus. All in different size range. When they get to an overall size of 2-3 month pregnancy you can start to feel the enlarged uterus fairly easily on abdominal exam. It takes usually several years for them to get that big.
