Question: HELP!!! Fibroid: Ladies (or men) PLEASE GIVE YOUR OPINION?
I am almost 24 and went to the OBGYN 3 weeks ago, i knew i had a fibroid because my periods were very painful and my mother had endeometriosis w/ fibroids. I was getting very bad pains the past 3 months when i was on and off my period. The doctor told me that i had a fibroid the size of pregnant women who is 6 months into her pregnancy. My stomach has become bigger but i did not know that the fibroid was that huge.
So now, i have a choice to have surgery and get it removed now or take Lupron depot to shrink it and go from there. I want to have at least 7 children (:0). If i have surgery, the doc said that i will always have to get a c-section rather than having them vaginally. With the Lupron, i would have to be on it for a year for it to shrink down to a size that is not going to cause me pain; but i’m afraid its gotten bigger…….i can’t excercise, lay on my stomach and i have to buy bigger shirts…What should i do, i would like to have a flat stomach again

id go the depot if you want 7 kids as many doctors advise against any more than a max of 4 c sections on any child bearing female due to internal scarring and the weakening of the uterus caused from the incisions
