Question: does soy milk cause fibroids to grow?

Fibroid growth is controlled by hormones, mostly oestrogen. The phytoestrogens in soy are similar in structure but much weaker. Scientists are still uncertain about the effects of phytoestrogens vs oestrogen. As with all foods, moderation is the key. If you have a balanced diet, a moderate amount of soy milk is still better for you than the equivalent amount of cows milk.
