breastfeeding with cysts?
Question: breastfeeding with cysts?
I have painful cysts in my right breast. The left one is fine. Anyway, my dr. thinks I have fibroid cystic disease because it runs in my family and because they hurt non stop all the time. I haven’t actually had tests done but with the family history and me being young, she always just says it’s cysts. She told me that breast cancer usually doesn’t hurt and it’s not painful. She said it wouldn’t affect breastfeeding but I think it will probably be alot more painful to me then if I didn’t have the cysts.
Has anyone else breastfed with fibroid cysts? What was your experience like?

i have breastfed 2 babies and i have cysts. to tell you the truth i think the breastfeeding helped with them. it was the only time since i was 13 that my breasts did not hurt from the cysts. they also seemed to lessen during the pregnancy
