After hysterectomy… before surgery pain – is back. What is hurting me?
Question: After hysterectomy… before surgery pain – is back. What is hurting me?
I am 34 years old.
On Feb-7, 2008 I had laparoscopically assisted hysterectomy. I still have my ovaries.
Before surgery I had CTscan and MRI… it showed, that I have “enlarged uterus with adenomyosis and one fibroid”.
Before surgery for over 3 years, I had every day pain, to be specyfic, two kinds of pains. One was on the middle of lower obdomen and another one was more on the right side (dull pain! I could even feel it when I had my painfull period)
For two weeks after sergury, I didn’t have the pain. But after two weeks it come back. The one on the right side!
I can take the pain, over the time I learn to live with it, but I it is taking over my life!!! It hurts so bad sametimes. Especially when I’m sitting down… driving… but it could hurt me all day no matter what I do. This dull, always there pain.
Could that be my right ovarie? But before surgery I asked my doctor to double check my overies. She told me that they are perfect. I just don’t know what to do? Please help

I am 29 and had a hyst. 3 years ago and I had that same problem I would say have your ovaries checked again but most likely it is your body trying to heal, That’s what mine was!!! I hope everything is OK!! GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!!
