The Affect of Endometriosis on Conception
Many women who are suffering from endometriosis are constantly worried about how this condition will affect their ability to get pregnant. A lot of research has been done regarding this issue that have proven that women suffering from endometriosis will have a harder time conceiving. And, unfortunately, according to these studies, up to 20 percent of women suffering from endometriosis will not be able to conceive at all. However, the other 80 percent of these women will give birth to healthy babies.
Women who suffer with endometriosis are more likely to experience miscarriages than women who don’t suffer from this condition. However, there 
is a surgery that can be done to alleviate the problems that endometriosis causes by removing some of the excess tissue in order to increase the woman’s ability to conceive.
If you are a woman suffering from endometriosis know that all hope is not lost. You should still continue to try and get pregnant. Additionally, there are a several drugs that will help enduce ovulation such as Clomid, but these drugs should only be taken if they are advised by your doctor.
It is important to remember that every woman is different and each case of endometriosis will also be different. Some women will be prone to intense pain and have a great deal of problems trying to get pregnant, while others will have very little issues with pain and conception. Because each case of endometriosis is unique it would be wise to talk with your gynocologist to determine the extent of your own unique case of endometriosis.
Endometriosis is not always the underlyingn problem of infertility, there could very well be other factors that are preventing conception like, male fertility issues, diet, age, excessive exercise, drug use, alcohol concsumption etc. Therefore, it is recommended that you speak with your doctor to understand the true reason you are having trouble conceiving.
